Terms & disclaimer

Plain-English terms for using this site. Nothing here tries to take away rights that Australian Consumer Law gives you.

Guidance, not a quote

Everything on this site, the guides, the glossary, the window finder, the service pages, is general guidance to help you think about window coverings. None of it is a quote, a promise of suitability for your specific windows, or professional advice about your building. Prices, products and specifications are only fixed in a written quote prepared after an in-home measure.

The window finder

The finder recommends a fabric direction and a mechanism style from the answers you give it. It can't see your windows. Its output is a starting point for the measure conversation and carries no commitment on either side; where the finder and an in-person measure disagree, the measure governs.

Imagery

Some images on this site are illustrative, stock or generated, showing typical products and rooms rather than photographs of specific completed jobs. They're here to explain, not to claim.

Third-party references

Where we link to external sources such as government product-safety or building-guidance pages, those organisations own their content and may change it; the source text always governs over our summary of it.

Enquiries

Submitting the enquiry form asks us to contact you about your windows, and that's what we'll do. It doesn't create a contract; a contract forms when you accept a written quote. Our handling of your details is covered by the privacy page.

Liability, in proportion

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for loss arising from reliance on general material on this site, as distinct from a written quote and the work done under it. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees and rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
