What we fit
Blinds services in Newcastle
A catalogue tells you what exists. It doesn't tell you what your window needs. So our services are organised the way we actually quote: by the job the glass has to do. Start with the job, and the right product falls out the other side.
Blockout & sleep
Total darkness on demand: blockout rollers fitted tight to the reveal for bedrooms, nurseries and shift workers. The gap around the edge matters as much as the fabric, so we treat the fit as part of the spec.
How we spec sleepGlare & light filter
East-facing rooms here take the hardest light of the day, straight off the water. Light-filtering fabrics knock the glare down while the room stays bright and usable, no cave required.
How we spec glareSheer & view
If the window is the best thing about the room, the blind can't be the end of it. Sheers and dual rollers soften light and give daytime privacy while the outlook stays standing.
How we spec view glassHeat control
West glass in the estate suburbs takes full sun from mid-afternoon until it sets. Honeycomb cells and blockout fabrics pull real heat out of the room, and they're specified before looks come into it.
How we spec west glassStreet privacy
Terraces and cottages in the inner streets put the front window an arm's length from passers-by. Dual rollers and venetians give privacy in layers: soft daylight in, sightlines out, nothing on show at night.
How we spec privacyMechanisms & child safety
Cordless, chain or motorised is a real decision, not an add-on at the counter. We choose it for the household, and where cords exist they're restrained per the Australian child-safety rules.

Everything is made to measure
Rollers lead most of our quotes because they solve most Newcastle windows, but the job decides the product, not the other way round. All of these are measured, made and fitted the same way.
| Blind | Where it earns its place |
|---|---|
| Roller blinds | The workhorse. Blockout, light-filter or sheer fabric on a clean tube; the fabric choice does the heavy lifting. |
| Dual rollers | Two fabrics, one bracket: sheer or light-filter for the day, blockout for night. The honest answer for street-facing bedrooms and view glass that sleeps. |
| Honeycomb / cellular | An insulating air cell against the glass. The strongest fabric answer to west heat, and to winter heat loss on big single-glazed panes. |
| Venetians | Aluminium, timber or faux-timber slats you can steer by degrees. Kitchens, bathrooms, and privacy that still wants a sightline out. |
| Roman blinds | Soft folds, tailored look, blockout or light-filter linings. A warmer face on the same made-to-measure discipline. |
| Verticals & panel glides | Wide sliding doors and big openings, where a roller would be a sail. Track-run fabric that stacks right off the glass. |
| Outdoor blinds | The supporting line for west glass and alfresco areas: stop the heat before it reaches the window. We'll say so when outside beats inside. |
Shutters and curtains sit on the bench too. They're not what this business leads with, but if a room genuinely calls for a shutter or a drape we'll quote it as a line item rather than pretend a roller is always the answer.

Measure & install
Measured by the fitter, fitted by the measurer
Every quote starts with a free in-home measure: reveal or face fit, head height, handles and winders that get in the way, and which way the light arrives. The person who takes those millimetres is the person who comes back to fit, so nothing is lost between a salesperson's sketch and the wall.
Quotes are written and itemised window by window. If you want to move one room to a cheaper fabric or drop a window entirely, you can see exactly what changes.
